Criminal Law

Criminal Advocates offer representation at all Police Stations, Magistrates' and Crown Courts in the East Riding and Humberside area.

Partner Ian Phillip is one of the first Defence Solicitor Advocates (Higher Courts Criminal) in the region and therefore able to conduct all Crown Court Hearings.

The Department consists of four lawyers, four accredited clerks, one trainee solicitor plus support staff.

Family Law

Lucy Worthington the Head of the Department has achieved Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) and was the founding member of Hull & East Yorkshire Resolution.

Three of the Department's Solicitors are members of the Children's Accreditation Scheme, one of whom is also on the Family Panel and a further Solicitor who is Resolution accredited with specialisation in Domestic Violence and Private Children Act work.

We offer representation before the County Court and Family Proceedings Court covering Public / Private children's law cases, Injunctions and Ancillary relief.

The Department comprises of six lawyers, plus support staff.

Mental Health

Representation is available by Senior Partner, Tim Durkin who has been on the Law Society's Mental Health Panel since its inception. He is able to conduct cases in the Yorkshire and Humber Region including Lincolnshire.
