We have five Partners. Timothy Durkin heads the practice and has an important role as Managing Partner. He also continues to deal with client work in his specialised field of Mental Health Law. Lucy Worthington heads the Family Department Ian Philip heads the Criminal Defence Department, Andrew McBirnie heads the Civil Litigation Department, while Timothy Durkin heads the Conveyancing Department, Richard Fowler is a Criminal Defence Lawyer.
The partnership is well supported by its Assistant Solicitors, Legal Executives, Paralegals and Secretaries, all of whom work within their specialist department. Our 'City look' modern offices provide excellent facilities for our clients including special facilities for people with disabilities such as wheelchair users.
Throughout the Practice we undertake a large amount of private client work as well as providing a commitment to the Community Legal Service with which body we have contracts for the public funding of certain cases. This means that CLS is satisfied with the quality of our service and advice in the relevant areas of work merits a special quality mark.
